I've run into a problem that is driving me nuts. Skyrim has started running like trash. I lag horribly in any battle with mages (because of the spell graphics) or when there are more than 3 enemies. Even just running around the map, the graphics are jerky?

Sounds like a computer problem rather than a game problem. As well as updating drivers, also worth considering: virus scan, registry cleanup, defrag drive. If your hard drive is more than about 90% full you're gonna get those kinds of issues, even if you've still got >50 gigs of space on it.

Registry cleanup is the most painless thing to try, it's free and it's fast.
