Hideous Blow will not provoke attacks of opportunity unless it is used with a weapon that would normally do so, such as a whip.

Clarification/Correction:

Hitting with a weapon that has hideous blow applied does not provoke an AoO, but applying that feature to the weapon does, just like any other usage of Eldritch Blast. So if you attack with a whip or another weapon which provokes AoOs you will provoke two.
