    Our nanosuit-wearing friend The Fixer emerges next from the portal, one feet landing on the lichen mat, and then the other. He's somewhat surprised to find that he doesn't need any extra effort to keep his balance on the tree branch. He looks up and down, the tree crown and roots out of sight.
