Funny that, I travelled to most of Europe and I don't think I ever saw round doughnuts except in handful of stores in UK.

So are they more square* in Europe? I know a store locally that sells square donuts, but they charge more because bigger+novelty. I buy the ring-shaped ones because they're cheaper and still taste good. ^^;

*(best line of link: Square donuts have a 27% more donut per donut in the same space as a round one)

Here's a real donut, USA.

We have those too (usually filled with cream, jelly, or icing though and that's too much sugar for me). If I could find them without filling then I would totally buy those cause they would be awesome. :D
