Adelbert Schreiber

Adelbert spent his days preaching among those soldiers who looked like they might listen in an effort to keep morale up, speaking of the many victories over the greenskins, especially those won by the faithful of Verena. His aim was to help keep up morale and perhaps, goddess willing, win some interest in his faith.

In his spare time he aided Gunther in any minor tasks needed. Kaja was allowed to read the more exciting, less long winded stories in the Verenean book (assuming any of it fit that despcription.) The scribe seemed to rather enjoy himself. He was heading home and he strongly believed that striking out against the orcs was necessary before it became too late.

On the day they reached Caerfort Adelbert drew Gunther aside: "I know the village elder and can speak Breton. I'd be happy to go with Bernhard's envoys if you think he'd allow it."
