    Katrin's eyes widen as she sees the fell troll deliver such grievous wounds to Evendur and the lizardman. Damn it! No! Her horse, afraid of the smell of blood, shies away from the battle, throwing off her aim. She dismounts as quickly as she can, wishing she knew how to ride better so she could control her horse, and re-aims and fires her bolt. I wish I could get in to stab it in the back, but I'd stand no chance if it hits me even once...

    (OOC: Ride Check in an attempt to dismount quickly (1d20+3=8)
    Attack Roll (1d20+8=16)
    Damage, if the stupid bolt hits (1d8=1)
    How can anyone get so many terrible rolls in a row? )
