Asher stammered out an apology when Valamir emerged from the tunnel. Of course he had no idea that there was anything so dangerous only this far into the sewers. At the least, he offers to buy Valamir a few glasses of wine.

He says quietly, "Dragons have great hearing, so perhaps we should discuss his origin elsewhere?"

To the south, a T-intersection leads east and west. Back to the north, an unexplored branch leads east. At the southern junction, the party finds the partially eaten corpse of a goblin that looks like it had been set upright against the wall as a warning. A pair of dire rats scatter when the adventurers draw near.
