A little advice for the one that collapsed under its own weight: Work in stages. Make an outline out of an old wire coat hanger, build her basic shape over it out of clay and then bake it. After it cools down just apply the rest of the clay, then you'll be able to add all the detail you want without it falling apart on you.

If you're like me, then everytime you make something you'll have an "Oooooh, THAT'S how I'm supposed to do that." moment that you'll wish you could go back and redo the rest of your stuff knowing.
