In this strip, Serini's gate is referred to as "far to the north", with 8 nations between them and the gate, whereas Azure City is only a few weeks away and it's the closest nation to them. This seems to indicate that they started in the South and marched to another part of the South.

Everything ive seen indicates that the heaviest goblin concentrations are in the North.

It's entirely possible I missed this information. Where was this mentioned?
