Dominic tries not to let it show but he's super relieved that Arlo shrugs his way out of the rubble. But his eyes visibly bug out when it's not the little sandshrew he knew but a big old sandslash. And Adam's pokemon evolved too. "Look! Look!" He says, gesticulating wildly at Adam had clearly already seen. "Arlo! Burrow through that rubble! Don't let him get away!" The sandslash looks at its new razor sharp claws and disappears in a shower of dirt, only to pop up much closer to Thistle, then closing the small gap that was still between them.
