Electra leaps back and left as the leftover limb explodes, her arms flashing up into a cross-block. She manages to miss most of the tendrils, but one of them manages to catch and wrap around her outstretched leg just as she fires her EAS, extending a long anchor to the ground. The thruster nozzles on her back and boots roar, pulling the appendage taut, and her leg armor begins to creak with the strain. Arms blurring once more, she draws her pistols, their barrels extending once more. She fires five rapid shots at the point where the tendil meets the ground, hoping the shots, or their subsequent small explosions, will sever the tether.
