Hmm not necessarily unwise but obviously unneeded considering how freely they let the Mediums come and go, unless they can detect any dangerous diseases with the tracking microbes in the food. I do like seeing these powerplays between the Principle and Coyote though, makes it obvious Annie is part of a game she only has the barest idea is being played.
