Alice isn't quite so obvious as to wonder, aloud and despairing, as to whether this will work or whether it's necessary, but it's certainly written clear on her face as she sinks into a deadpan expression. But there are more pressing things to think about, as far as she's concerned: "Last week... I suppose that doesn't really tell us much," she adds thoughtfully to herself as she mulls the problem over. "... that is, beyond the fact that she probably didn't expect anything to happen to her."

A pause, and she's sighed as she touches lightly at her forehead in that sort of incoming headache pose. "Not that that's a brilliant deduction for the ages, or anything."
