Alright, so I'm done with the X-Wing now. I didn't finish it mind you, I'm just done with it.

As you can see in the second picture, I sort of caused a fracture that split the whole damned thing in two. My intention was to create a stand with a thin piece of wood to hold it up like it was flying, but when I inserted the skewer into the sculpture the weight of it tore itself apart; I fought it the best I could but I don't believe the damage is going to be repairable.

I still had some detail work (on the cockpit, guns, R2 unit, etc...) that I most likely won't be getting to now; but if something happens and I find a way to make the idea work I might finish it up later on.

I didn't bother with the step by step on this one because I wasn't really sure any of it was going to work in the first place. Overall though, even though it didn't turn out like I wanted it to it still gives me hope for future projects in the 'non-humanoid' vein.
