He last appeared in Made in Manehattan, but he and Aunt Orange last had lines in The Cutie Mark Chronicles. They're background ponies.

If that's not good enough, then depending on how you see Spike and Twilight's relationship, you could consider him Flurry's uncle. Or Shining Armor Spike's uncle. Or none of the above.
