A49: Demiplane is a pocket dimension 30' x 30' x 30'. The spell creates the demiplane and connects to the prime material via a shadowy door. Subsequent castings of the spell can take you to the same, already created demiplane, or a new one.

If you want to retrieve objects, you have to connect to the plane that has said objects. Where you are in the prime material does not matter in this. The door will lead to the demiplane of your choosing.

The walls are planar boundaries, save DM adjudication- nothing should be able to breach a demiplanes walls.
