Hammerhead
As Cassandra shared her thoughts about the mayor, Hammerhead gave a rather resigned shrug.
"It's the same with people in charge wherever you go, Cassandra. All they're concerned with is how they can get the problem out of their backyard, no caring about whether it's actually solved. Nah, they're happy to leave that to the pawns."
He twirled Last Word and then nodded to her, a firm look on his face.
"In any case, you already know I won't leave you. Where you're going, there's gonna be a lot of nasty folk, of all species, and you'll need someone to help you break their heads. And for that, you need the best - so count me in."
Looking up to the sky, Hammerhead took in a deep breath.
"You know one thing I like about above-ground life? The sun. Lot of dwarves aren't so keen on the thing, but when it's out and blazing, and you can feel it shining down and warming you through to the bones? There's nothing like that below ground."
