I've always ruled that spells with multiple schools are available to anyone who has access to at least one of the listed schools. And a specialist will get a bonus to save as long as one of the listed schools is the one they get the bonus for.
Same thing for Clerical spheres. If it's in one of your listed spheres, you can cast it, regardless of what other spheres it shows up in.
