As the roads converge, the fighting breaks out. Zaiho sprints ahead, but suddenly he is lifted up as a box slides over him from behind. He sees the world spin in front of him and then it goes dark as the box flips over him. He hears two other contestants get disturbingly close.
M’raji grabs onto the back of Tikrack and pulls him to the ground. Tikrack yells in surprise and takes a moment to stand back up. He grins maliciously and chases M’raji down with a powerful sprint.
Veridotus tries to throw the dagger, but despite connecting, her weak arms cant put enough power behind the throw to cut the rope and it remains hanging with a small notch cut out of it. Thatassku grabs the first thing she can find and with a jump hucks it over Dragars head at Silas. Silas hears a thud to his left and sees a barbell hit the ground next to him.
The light can be seen just ahead down the next street. Several onlookers jump and point at the road to take, cheering for the racers.
Spoiler: oocwarper I added an improvised weapon penalty to your attack roll
1. You may take a -2 penalty on your roll to do an additional action, ie. Knock a basket of European coconuts over and force people behind you to deal with that.
2. You may take a -2 penalty on your roll to change which of the three streets you are running down. Taking alternate paths do not have this penalty but will require their own roll. Moving from the street to an adjacent water road or vice versa do not take this penalty
3. In the event there is an open lane (no obstacle), you may attempt a fortitude check to sprint
