A 176: No attack of opportunity is provoked. The reason is found in the SRD.

You only provoke attacks of opportunity when you begin casting a spell, even though you might continue casting for at least one full round. While casting a spell, you don’t threaten any squares around you.

Neither an immediate action nor a move action gets the character in a threatening position at the time the caster started casting the spell, so it doesn't provoke.
