Night 4

Tick tock. Tick tock. The clocks in the shop made a beautiful melody that Ticky Tock the clock maker loved to listen to. It was the most beautiful sound, to his ears.

Ticky Tock was known in all of Equestria as the premier clock and watch maker. Though an Earth Pony, you could see the love and attention to the smallest detail he put into every time machine he made.

*RAAAWR!!!!*

Ticky Tock's knife jumped just as he was carving a delicate line in his latest design. The carving knife cut a jagged line over the beautiful wood, and onto the glass frame.

Ticky Tock shook in fury. Why can't you ponies be quiet for just a moment!!! He yelled out to no one specifically. Then with a sigh, he began work on fixing the mistake.

Hours went by, and Ticky Tock finally completed his masterpiece. Holding it up with his front hooves, he slowly turned it, proud of his new creation. He placed the clock in a special display box. He couldn't wait to show Ponyville his new pride and joy.

That's when he noticed that he hadn't been distracted at all since he'd yelled out. Well, with this they'll know their silence was worth it. I'll apologize after. He thought to himself, with a grin. Then headed out of his shop.

As he made his way to the front room, he noticed a strange noise he'd never heard before. A sort of... beeping and honking sound. Not just one... but many of them. Ponyville must be infested with some rare, annoying sounding birds.

As he got closer to the door, the noise increased. He opened it, and immediately slammed the door shut. Breathing hard, he blinked a few times, shook his head, then slowly peered back out.

No, he hadn't been dreaming. What he saw outside his door could only be described as hairless apes..... wearing.... wearing what? He'd never seen anything like it before.

Once again he shut the door, locking it just to be safe. He immediately began looking over his clock. What had happened? Could it be imbued with malicious magic? But how? I certainly didn't do it. All these thoughts ran through his head as he tried to undo whatever it was he'd done.
