Temple of Bane, North Northside

The half-elf, previously confident in his ability to fight the Hollow Hounds, is taken by surprise by the explosion, and inadvertently inhales the gas. He collapses, coughing and wheezing as the poison takes hold. The corruption does, too, but his faith in Bane gifts him a limited ability to resist spiritual corruption of this sort. He'll probably get trampled by the second wave.

The Hollow Hounds will have some difficulty reaching the archers- they're on an upper landing, loosing their missiles through long, narrow (half a metre wide) windows that were always intended to serve as arrow-slits, but disguised with stained-glass windows (which have been taken down, again as designed). On the ground floor, other worshippers of Bane will thrust spears and pikes out of the lower parts of the windows, to deter the Hollow Hounds' assault. The upper landing's defenders will loose more arrows and bolts down.

The Temple's large front door has been barricaded, but its nature as a solid slab of oak reinforced with iron studs mean getting in, whilst safer, will be slower.
