There are plenty of things online about the dwarf who supposedly hanged himself in the backdrop of a shot from "The Wizard of Oz", so I don't think it being pre-Internet would make a difference. I don't have the original Thunderbirds series to verify it for myself (the one that comes free with Amazon Prime is the 2015 remake), so will just have to leave it be.

Fair enough. I can't account for it; it's plain as day, even though it's only there for a few seconds.
I'd appreciate somebody checking, if they can. I'm starting to wonder if I'm just being a moron somehow. I'm tempted to put up the screenshot I took, but... well, I'm not in a big hurry to do so.

Isn't this a massive oxymoron?

It's in the backdrop, as in it's not the foreground, and not the object of focus for the scene. But it is directly in the middle of the shot, and not obscured by anything; it's the first layer of the background.
