Nuisance
Conditions: None

And just like that, Rook was gone. The birds that fluttered about the rooftop disappeared almost as quickly. Sarah stood confused for a second, too many thoughts passing through her head for her to make a move of any kind.

Rook was just stalling us? For money!? Uncool. And what the heck does 'pass-ayy' even mean? Wait, did I just get an archenemy?

There would be no time for answers, as the whine of Hive's cannon dying down quickly brought Sarah back to the present. As it was, she already had an extensive amount of stuff she'd need to process later. Turning to look at Hive, Sarah gave an energetic wave as her suit phased back in and unsealed with a soft hiss.

"Thanks for the-" she began, but her chrome teammate had already vanished up towards the news station. "...help."

Hive was probably just detail oriented. That was fine, Sarah still thought she was cool; there was no way Nuisance would have been a match for that crazy mercenary on her own, especially if he'd been going easy on them, so she'd definitely been saved by the taciturn machine-girl. Hive's doom cannon was pretty crazy looking though, and Sarah's heart had definitely skipped a few beats at the thought of how many buildings that sort of thing could have leveled. The emergency crews standing a ways down the road probably felt the same way; which is precisely why they were still standing a ways down the road. Helping them to the scene wasn't really an option, and so Sarah had no choice but to take off after her teammates. She had no hope of catching up to any of them, but she had to be there. There was no way she was missing whatever was next.
