The man who sold his own daughter for a vial of Shiver.

Silas huffed at every word. There were skeletons for every man to keep hidden from others. Sometimes they took the form of a family member. In his case, it was a deed he performed. Unforgivable, indescribable, and truly the only thing that could shake him awake from an otherwise restful slumber.

As the ramshackled docks stirred, Silas realized just in time what was about to happen. A few steps forward, and he leaped to the walkway below, slipping on the slick surface from years of algae and poor upkeep. A flurry of words cursing his luck flew around his mind with a single simple word escaping his lips.

'Damn!'

His aura turned an angry red. Being so caught off-guard by a monster like Gaedren was not a well feeling to be had. As well, the fact that he would almost certainly get away before Silas could get a word (or a sword) in.

In an effort to exit his rage, he rose from the floor, too tightly holding his weapon with growls echoing from his being. He stepped toward the nearest creature guilty of conspiring with Gaedren while hefting his blade up from below in a sweeping strike.
