They're an atlantic Canadian band which did a lot of traditional maritime music (roots in Irish folk), and put pop/rock twists on the genre (or just played straight pop/rock music with traditional instrumentation). A lot of their songs are also on Pandora, so you can just set it and forget it, mostly.

Although if it works reverse of stuff that leads TO them (back in the day I had a Jonathan Coulton radio that frequently played Great Big Sea, Cake, and tenacious D) you might get some unexpected Weird Al thrown in. Not that that's a PROBLEM, in my opinion.

Pandora in general is kind of the solution to your problem to be honest.
