I'm now expecting Vi to pop out of a hidden door just as some villain enters MWAHAHAHAHAHA mode and save the day. I think we're being set up for that - she left following Steelgarter, the dome is full of hidden passages and secret doors, and she's a Smoke Knight (better than everyone expects).
