Kuriko laughs and rolls her eyes. "Yeah, sure, whatever you say, Mom." Seems like Ivaz's attitude towards writing reminds Kuriko of something she's heard growing up.

Given how much Ivaz associates drinking with partying, the ex-goomba expects to be back to writing within the hour. "If I can't hold a pen in my hands, I could just do it with my mouth." Then, under her breath and as she raises her drink to her mouth, she says, "Wouldn't be the first time."

Meanwhile, Kuriko decides she's okay with how pumpkin punch tastes. I mean, it's not the best, but it's not terrible. Sure, some of the other drinks probably taste better, but the pumpkin punch is okay.
