No they don't. We just see the ones that do because that's what our main characters interact with. Not only that but what else would you become in a world that is a ton of islands? Those seem like both really solid professions.

Except they didn't. The cake, while she was in a food rage, distracted her. I wouldn't say anyone defeated Big Mom. The Strawhats ran and she's chasing. The defeat of Big Mom hasn't happened yet.

Sure but see above. Just because that's the case doesn't mean other cases can't be rejected or criticized.
