'I assume it went well since you are standing here,' Adelbert said to Elsa when she turned up at his door in the middle of the night. He yawned and stepped aside, allowing her entry before retreating to his own bed.

The following morning Adelbert went to the Temple, still ruminating about the uselessness of the other clergy. Clearly he'd have to take matters into his own hands.

He made a beeline to Hieronymous. 'That consecration you used in Caerfort. Must it be used in a dedicated temple or could it be used to make... say, a street, holy ground?' Adelbert scratched his beard. 'I think its time we take the offensive in this war and open up a front in the spiritual realm.'
