Hilgya showed up because her story is intertwined with Durkon, who, you may recall, proposed to her not that many strips ago.

I care what happens to Hilgya the same way I care what happens to Grubwiggler.

Things I will not say: “Oh boy! I wonder how Grubwiggler will work out his conflict with the thieves guild! And I sure do hope the Firehelms scrape together enough money to keep their cave! I hope there’s a couple strips devoted to both those things at the end of the book!”
