A long bow would be trickier, maybe you could hide it under a thick blanket?
I think the intent is to be able to use the weapon, while retaining Gloom Stalker's excellent invisibility.

I think some kind of wrap around the actual wooden part of the bow would work, but if the string also glows you would definitely have some trouble - maybe swap the sting for a different one in that case? Alternatively, ask the DM if you can turn the glow off, either with a command word, or by attunement.

Its a last resort, but if you really want to keep the invisibility, is there anyone else in the party who would really like a magical longbow? Kind of a bad option, I know, but a constantly-glowing weapon is a pretty poor reward for a Ranger sub-class so dependent on darkness.
