[Market Street]

A woman named Kuriko walks down ye olde Market Street, looking at the stalls and other medieval-fantasy setpieces.

Kuriko is a former goomba who has turned into a human. It was a while ago, and she's gotten used to being human, now. Fingers are nice. Being tall is nice. Jumping high is nice. Having legs is nice. Having so many lanky limbs is still a little weird.

She tucks her hair behind her ear, to keep it out of her face and then bites her lip. Right: she's here to record what she observes and interview a few people, determine how long ago they came to the Nexus or if they were born here, where they originally came from, how they're integrating, what their home culture is like, what parts of the Nexus they normally travel to, how they feel about it, and so on.

Tapping her pen on her clipboard, she thinks. What else did she want to get accomplished today? A hundred surveys, five interviews, and ten pages' of observations.

Yup, she's ready. She nods and steps forward, looking for interviews. "Excuse me, would you mind filling out a survey?"
