There's nothing in Gen VIII as good as Lucario, so the starters are a good bet. Grooky's got that obnoxiously large drum which just will not work in Smash, and Inteleon looks too much like Greninja.
As much as I'd like to see Rillaboom and come in to complete the Water/Fire/Grass cycle, I think Urshifu from the DLC is going to be a low enough hanging fruit to grab on.
