Still, it relentlessly pursued Bash, who carried the egg. It slammed into her painfully. Thankfully, the shield that Solosis had raised did much to dampen the blow.

At the third nest, Serge and the final statue traded heavy blows. Neither gave an inch, but Serge came out of the trade worse off.
