Envoy's comment gets the mental equivalent of a shrug; Akhlys is on the job, and compliments are pleasant but unnecessary while there's work to be done.

Elita is happy to let the other super handle allaying the fears of the crowd. Thanatos and Limos loved the spotlight too much for her to seek it out, and she'd rather focus on making sure they weren't going to be facing a sadistic necromancer who could actually do something in a few moments. She almost offered to destroy the animal matter herself, but reconsidered at the last moment; her living matter was decidedly strange, but it might still qualify as "living matter" as far as Bacchan is concerned... which brings up a slew of completely different problems.

More to distract herself from that line of thinking than for any other reason, Elita risks looking away from the Heroes Guild door for a moment to scan the crowd. Someone had tried to give Bacchan an out, and had even taken steps to hide their sabotage. Now, that was getting exposed; a smart collaborator wouldn't be anywhere near the scene, but "smart" and "supervillain" had less overlap than one might think. Elita looked over the restless civilians, trying to feel for anyone out of place.
