Ritan warily jumps back to protect himself from what he presumes to be something hazardous, but as his allies move in, nothing happens. It is then that Fargrim rushes forward to attack, but he swings in a predictable motion, which the halfling easily avoids.

As this happens, Flare fires a bolt of energy upon the lone foe, which strikes him in the torso. "Gkkkkktttt-" He gurgles, holding his chest in pain, and falls backwards. He lands hard, and his sword bounces out of his hand and comes to a rest at Fargrim's feet.

With the foe down, Harold instinctively holds back his spellcasting, to not waste the effort ((that is, unless you still want to cast it anyway )).

Len curiously looks over Harold's shoulder. "Is he dead?"
