Tristan freaks out when the monkey grabs on, losing all sense to stab it while it's still stuck to leg and not moving. As he kicks it off, he misses his chance to poke it. He side steps around it, waving his sword menacingly on the right of the creature before feinting over to the opposite side and making a stab.
