    OOc: Mithral isn't magic. It's just a material, same as Cold Iron, or Adamantine. In a successful trading post such as Xii'thktor, you could probably buy it in ample quantities.

    Also, mithral is a lot more easily workable than iron or steel, so a skilled armorour could easily make one in a day, or at least upgrade the shield I have now.
