@Wizard: Is there a point during the turn at which one's budget needs to be fixed and posted here?

edit: Also @Wizard: Is it too late to renegotiate trade deals for the second turn? We're only about a seventh of the way into the first turn. That is, if nations that have trade deals for turn 2 with the EU cancel them, do they still have time to negotiate new deals for turn 2?

    Tentative Budget for UCA, 2051-2055

2 Wealth to raise Spy by 1
2 Wealth to raise Pop by 1
4 Wealth to raise Eco by 2
6 Wealth to raise Tech by 3
2 Wealth to raise Civil by 1

[Fluff on that to come] edit: Here cometh the fluff.

A convention of the UCA National Congress has approved a budget for the fiscal period 2051-2055. An eighth of the budget will go to an expansion of the UCA's covert agencies, creating a new branch dedicated to foreign grassroots organizing. An additional eighth will be used to expand the nation's healthcare systems, with the intent to raise population. A fourth of the budget will be devoted to expansion of government industries to take full advantage of projected trade goods. The largest portion of the budget, at three eighths, will be directed to increasing the nation's tech levels, bringing the most cutting edge civilian technology to more and more of the population, and funding additional research universities. Finally, the last eighth of the budget will be used to fund an expansion of the bureaucratic sector in anticipation of the ever-increasing difficulty of managing a large nation.
