Orin still is quite shocked and somewhat weary from Lucidae's casual and callous display of indifference to other's lives.

If she was going to slay a beast of burden, which they could have used really well about now on a whim, what would she do if it the thought strikes her, that she could make do without any of her other 'companions' ?

(... maybe i shouldn't have turned down the opportunity to train those 'basic sentry removal techniques'...)
