As the kalashtar spins off from whacking his hat, Aundair pauses, stunned, raising one hand to his face and the other to his hat. "She touched the hat." He reaches out for the first weapon that comes to him, ready to strike her unconscious before the madness can continue, but as he grasps the heavy Riedran carving, she falls unconscious. Aundair replaces it delicately, hoping the dean didn't catch him moments from braining the kalashtar.

With a flourish, he signs the document and passes it along, Aundair frowns at the hobgoblin woman and turns to the professor. "Is she coming with us?" He jerks a hand at the gobliness.

Not waiting for an answer, he moves on to look at the map. "Have you looked at the books for anything about this Black Rose? And don't tell me you looked at Brundarrson. I don't think the man's ever left Korranberg, let alone Khorvaire."
