I did not say that. You implied heavily that the damage comparison between a fighter and a monk was PvP. I refuted this by saying that any comparison should be done in the context of an actual game of D&D. ie, the monk and fighter are on the same side.And now this "Giacomo posted a guide only intent for PvP" fallacy again. Why?
What exactly makes the monk a less valuable member of the team when he can
- do great damage
- do great combat tactics (grapple, improved disarm, flyby attack, great move)
- be the one to be left standing after devastating spell attacks to save the others?
- have items in his possession that greaty synergise with/benefit also others in the group? (wands, pearls of power)
- can be a great scout?
