Resh had stepped to the side, letting the others talk amongst themselves about what to do with the bodies. He leaned slightly on a tree, winded. He had not fought in a real battle in so long; obviously why he did not accomplish much in the fight against the reptilian beasts. He looks down the road toward Winterhaven, kneels while leaning on his sword with the point down, and whispers softly.

"Just Bahamut. Look upon me, your humble servant. I ask that you guide me on this quest and to help me protect my companions like I could not pro-"..."-like I could not protect her. Be with dear Douven and keep him safe from harm if he is indeed in danger. Be with us in our battles as we bring justice and peace to this land. In your Just and Holy name..."

With that, Resh rises and sheathes his sword. He turns back toward the group.

"These creatures do not deserve a 'proper' burial for their actions. I suggest we burn them just off the road as a warning for others like them. Be quick, for we have much distance left to travel and little time."
