From the conversations you can hear in the tavern room, it seems you are not the first group of armed soldiers to come through in the last few days. However, it seems that the last groups to come through were considerably...grander...than your group.

Jason enjoys his food and an ale with it. When the people mention 'grander' groups of soldiers having come before them.

"Huh, I wonder what that is about. They don't want us to think we are the ones they scraped from the bottom of the barrel..." he remarks. He seems to be only half-joking though.
