Jergal, furrowing his brow at the latest treatise on alchemy and its uses for the improvement of spell components, hardly notices the knock at his door. The impatient guard, now pounding, finally draws the attention of the studious older man, who rises and softly walks to the door.

Upon it's opening, he sees a serious looking guard who summons him to the audience hall of the Earl.

Bother these impatient types he mutters to himself. I wonder what has him all wound up now...

With his arrival, those in the hall see a very well postured, slightly older man in fine, ruby red robes, black boots that click with his every step, and a deep, neatly trimmed black beard to match his boots. His hair is slightly mottled and receding, and he carries a blackened wooden staff adorned by a blood-red ruby. A polished, platinum ring sparkles on his left hand and a beautiful onyx ring that seems to absorb the very light decorates his right.

Well now, gentlemen, what seems to be the problem, hmmm? Surely we're not getting worked up over a few skeletons, are we?
