I'm sorry, Federation starships cannot stand up to an Imperial warship of any variety.

The two aren't that far apart- when it comes to non-lethal at a distance, phasers are pretty impressive (Star wars ships can't knock out but not kill everyone in a city with a single barrage), on lethal, in The Original Series Mirror Universe, the Enterprise is described as quite capable of devastating the cities of the planet on its own.

Similarly, superweapon technology does exist in the Trek-verse (in Generations, we see that the tech is available to destroy stars- the Federation just doesn't use it). Considering the Sun Crusher's torpedoes cost more than the Death Star's superlaser on research and development, it's something to remember.

And Star Wars doesn't appear to have anything like transporter or replicator tech.

Doesn't mean the two are equal tech-wise, but it does mean that the scale of the tech and power disparity may be being overstated.
