After reading Hayley's line in the first panel of 696 I went back and checked up on what sound the previous gates made when they exploded, and sure enough:

Azure City goes Krackakoom
and Redmountain goes Krackakoom too

Do you think the Giant using the same 'sound effect' for all 3 gates exploding, distinct from other explosions used in the strip such as
BOOOOOM and Boom and even more Boom has any meaning or forshadowing in it?
