It's rather difficult to just give advice in such a broad sense - to really help you we first need to see how you play in order to see what you're potentially doing wrong.

The melee sessions on Sundays are home to a wide array of skill ranges, and even if you don't want to try that you can still come to the Friday custom map sessions. Or don't if you don't want to, no pressure or anything.
