*Next Day for Spartans*

The Halo Base is buzzing with life. The two frigates, Sledgehammer and You Feeling Lucky? hover over the base ready to escort this mission. Overnight

Kurt spent the entire time replaying the his visors recording of the patrol. All the attackers fighting styles were noted. The creatures Linda had tagged with Markers were now on the updated Holographic Map showing the movements of the various herds of Pandorian animals. He had concluded this journey would require heavily armored after going through dozens of possible battalion arrangements he concluded that it would be safest to travel via air. Kurt had ordered that the Frigates carry along with them land vehicles if necessary and three Albatross from The Everlasting Beacon are on standby with an Elephant Command Vehicle and a few Grizzly Tanks, which Luther had suggested were "a necessary precaution."

With the plan set, in the morning two Frigates, 4 dozen Hornet Fighters and 13 Vulture Gunships, with one of them being used by the Spartan Team with two Hornet Class-C, armed with Cerebus Missile Pods, two pairs of Stallion HMG's, and two passengers seats for others sit inside the Spartan Vulture.

Kurt checks all comms to before giving orders.
All Squad leaders and Frigate Captains, check in.
We hears ya loud and clear on the Sledgehammer, Kurt.
Were all ears up here, waitin' for your orders Kurt.
"Squad 1 checking in."
Squad 2, awaiting orders sir.
Squad 3, on your six Lt. Colonel Kurt.
Alright, as soon as the EVA children are ready to go we move out. Keeps your eyes peeled for anything. If yesterday's patrols taught us anything, its that any hesitation or second-guessing will be your death. Take all necessary risks to keep yourselves alive. Understood?
All: "Yes sir!"

Kurt turns off the comms relaxing for a moment. Luther, Linda, and Alicia climb on board the Vulture.
Who are we waiting on Kurt?
Were waiting for Asuka, and this other EVA kid to show up.
I don't mind having an EVA following us to the Alliance Base. Hell, two EVA's sounds almost like an assurance for success, but why are they sending Asuka back out after what happened yesterday, she couldn't possibly fully healed from her injuries yet.
Its not our choice sadly Luther. Besides, Asuka sounds like a strong a girl to me. I would give her the benefit of the doubt.
What about this second child, we know anything about him.
No, I actually didn't find out we be getting a second EVA joining us until a few hours ago.
Wonderful...this definitely make things easier.
I'm sure if this child's an EVA he or she will be just as good as Asuka.
